My husband and I have been bringing our two Acuras to Smalley Automotive for years. We can’t speak highly enough about Kevin and his team. They have successfully diagnosed and repaired problems that both an Acura dealership and a Lexus dealership couldn’t. (And the only reason that we brought our cars to these other places was because they were under warranty) Kevin is one of the most ethical, professional, knowledgeable business owners we’ve ever met. It’s no surprise that he has an equally great group of guys working there. Thankfully, we are local, but we would drive hours if we had to because there just is no better place than Smalley and no one we’d trust more than Kevin. We HIGHLY recommend them!

My family and friends have been taking our cars to Kevin of Smalley Automotive for 10 years. I can always count on the work being done in an expert manner at a reasonable cost. This has never been more true when I had to recently replace my engine in my 15 year old Saturn. I live in North Jersey but any work I need done on my car is at Smalley Automotive the best mechanics at the Jersey Shore.

Very trustworthy, they will not try to get you to pay for work that is not necessary and always look to use the most cost efficient means to repair/service any of our cars. First and foremost, knowing that the shop staff is educated and skilled. Second, that the shop management communicates clearly & honestly with the customer about needed services or repairs. I have found in working with Kevin and his staff that they more than meet this expectation. Kevin is clearly extremely knowledgeable and very honest & fair in his services and pricing. My experience with his staff is that they are very proficient at their jobs, and have helped resolve ongoing issues with my car that other shops have failed to even diagnose.

I would like to commend Kevin and his shop on the excellent work they have done with my car. They have clearly resolved issues that other shops were unable to even properly diagnose, or may have caused in doing "maintenance". At almost 100,000 miles, my Mustang feels better than it has over the past 30,000 miles trying different shops and chain stores. They clearly know what they are doing there. Even though I live in the Princeton area, a shop of this caliber and fairness is hard to find and worth the trip for such quality service. Smalley Automotive is officially my shop of choice. Kevin, is amazing. He helped me out at a point when everyone was closed. Kevin went above the call of duty, by not only performing my inital request. He fixed a potentialy dangerous problem. With a true concern for my well being in addition to treating my car as his own, with the utmost care. The most honest not to mention integrity, most shops would have took advantage. I can not say enough good things about this shop.

Always Honest and Reliable with Excellent Repair Service! by Alex & Kim

We have been customers of this repair shop for over five years now with three vehicles of our own and two vehicles from elderly church family members. All three of our vehicles have over 150K miles on them at this point. Kevin is a great businessman. He is always willing to fit us in and he will call before any work if he feels the age of the vehicle may not warrant the repair. His team has worked on a Honda we bought for $1,500 and it's now been running great for 4 years now. We have never had a problem with the work they have done and they have never tried to convince us to do work that is not absolutely necessary to keep our family safe. At Kevin's suggestion we get an AC charge each summer instead of replacing the AC because our van will never outlive the cost of a new AC module. They have your back!...and your budget in mind.
